Character Name: Experiment 626
Character Canon: Stitch! anime, the alternate dimension version encountered via Wormhole.
Canon Background:
((Note: This is headcanon based on the episode of Stitch! where Yuna and Stitch travel to another dimension and meet an evil Stitch/626 who seems to have never met Lilo and therefore has yet to learn about family.))
Experiment 626 was created by Dr. Jumba Jookiba as a genetic experiment meant to spread chaos throughout the universe.Shortly after his creation they were arrested and taken before the Galactic Council where Jumba was put on trial. Jumba was imprisoned while 626, having prove that he had no goodness in him, was to be exiled to a desert asteroid for the rest of his life. Before he could be transported there, he escaped and hijacked a police cruiser, using the hyperdrive to escape to Earth. Here's where the story branches off.
Rather than landing on one of Hawaii's more rural islands, 626 landed in a big city where he was able to act on his destructive programming without the need to actively conceal himself. This also means that he never met Lilo and never learned what it meant to belong or to care for anyone. And he never got a name.
He proved to be impossible to contain when Jumba and Pleakley arrived to recapture him, though this could easily be the fact that Jumba never intended to do so in the first place. It seems he even actually provides 626 with supplies to make it easier for him to cause trouble: such as the jetpack, bazooka, and plasma cannon he uses constantly. Stranded there with them, Pleakley was regulated to their housekeeper and very bad cook. The humans couldn't stand up to him and the city was soon completely abandoned, as was possibly the entire planet over time, leaving him a playground that he could wreck to his heart's content. Gantu was also unable to take him down, though 626 seems to be avoiding killing him so he can keep him entertained with continued attempts.
Even though he enjoys causing destruction and beating up Gantu regularly, he isn't satisfied in an empty city anymore. Despite not showing it often, the quiet when he's not destroying things bothers him greatly. He turns up at Jumba's home periodically to harass him and Pleakley, but he doesn't value either of them. Even though Jumba is proud of him as an evil experiment 626 has never been shown any compassion or friendship and so doesn't understand it and can't yet show it to others himself. It seems like Pleakley isn't mean to him, but shows more of an exasperated tolerance for him and his bad behavior than he has any effort to change him for the better.
Omegafriends Background:
The only change is that 626 escaped to Venture City instead of whatever unnamed city he found originally. The red jetpack he's never without was in the police cruiser he stole, along with a pair of blasters, and he will be using the "dog disguise" when he's not causing big trouble. Taking it from Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch has a Glitch, his molecules are not fully charged and some point in the semi-near future will result in nightmares as well as fits and seizures that will get worse and more frequent until some hero or villain finds a way to help him.
Since he obviously can't just run everyone out of town, he'll be able to watch and maybe experience some of the connections he hadn't been able to in canon.
Personality:
Experiment 626 is everything that he's designed to be, ranging from naughty to outright malicious and loving being that way. He's very mischievous and highly destructive, with causing trouble and leaving destruction in his wake being his favorite pastimes. He very rarely pulls punches in a fight and likes to instill fear in the hearts of others. He's rude, snarky, disrespectful, and very apathetic when it comes to the words, opinions, and well-being of others. He's not against hurting children, puppies, kittens, or little old ladies, and yes he would hit a guy with glasses without a second thought and laugh while he did so.
While he is quite powerful and easily capable of using his strength to great effect, he likes to use different types of firearms just as much and given the chance would gain a small arsenal for himself. He's also quite fond of his red jetpack and only takes it off on occasion and usually that entails him using all four arms.
Like Stitch, he has a very short temper and hates having someone push things on him that he doesn't want. His manners are nonexistent in every way: he eats rudely, pushes and shoves, takes without asking, and would break down your door rather than knock before entering...or maybe just come through the wall. He's also quite stingy and jealous about what he considers his. But that doesn't mean he has any sort of consideration at all for what others have unless he's taking it for himself. His love of destruction would carry over to monster movies still, and likely to any kind of slapstick humor as well.
He suffers hydrophobia due to his dense molecular structure and hates to even touch water of any kind. Aside from this, he doesn't seem to be afraid of anyone or anything, not even taking attacks that are actually strong enough to hurt him. If he ever formed connections with anyone he could eventually learn the fear of losing someone.
It's extremely hard to reason with him or change his perspective on things and he hates being told that he can't do or shouldn't be doing things. Words alone mean very little in terms of persuasion, especially if the person can't or isn't willing to back it up with action. This doesn't have to be violent action even though that's what he understands the best, but it does need to show the person's resolve in their words somehow. Otherwise he refuses to believe in things that go against what he knows unless he sees or experiences them himself.
The thing that few people would easily get to see is that despite his love of doing bad things, he is lonely and actually unhappy. In the city he's chosen to live in he finds the fact that the only other sound he hears, when not fighting Gantu or harassing Jumba and Pleakley, is the echo of his own laughter depressing. So he wants people around, but he doesn't know compassion or how to show it to others yet. And he doesn't understand why he feels this way either, which is frustrating to him. He's never seen it really shown to anyone else and so he can't understand things like the willingness to sacrifice your life for someone else and would find the idea stupid.
But he is still Stitch and he can learn to be kind, somewhat selfless, gentle, and caring. he just needs to meet someone who can show him about those nicer parts of life and he might take an interest over time.
Powers:
Super strength is one of 626's most notable powers. He can lift 3000 times his own weight, but not any more than that even with the help of his retractable arms. He is flexible, able to curl into a ball and roll around by placing his feet in his mouth, as well as squeeze through impossibly tight spaces. His claws are semi-retractable, and his paw pads secrete a sticky fluid that lets him stick to and climb surfaces. His lower pair of arms, antennae, and spines are all able to be retracted into and concealed in his body at will and this can be controlled independently of each other so it's not an all or nothing trait. He can also conceal things he's holding or wearing on his arms when they retract, like the good deed counter Stitch wears.
Stitch is programmed to be good in combat, both physically and with various firearms. He is agile and can use martial arts as well as fight with melee weapons. His fur is fireproof and bulletproof, and he's nearly indestructible. He can take heavy impact and even hold plasma for short periods. It takes Stitch canonly three semi-trucks in a row running him over to knock him out overnight, and this version a powerful plasma cannon blast bigger than he is and that he rushed directly into to take him down to the extent he needed use of a recovery chamber...and he was back on his feet in well under a day even then.
His brain works faster than a supercomputer and he can process things he sees very quickly, also having a very good memory. His eyes can switch between normal, night-vision, and infrared. His hearing is extremely acute, but this also means that he's sensitive to sonic blasts as they can temporarily deafen him. Oddly, he can play the audio from devices through his mouth by placing his claw on it where it's required, like the claw on a record where the needle goes, and then opening his mouth. He can eat and digest just about anything, but the combination of rubber and the oil from macadamia nuts can crash his system and cause him to lose all of his skills so he must relearn them from scratch.
Because his molecules are so dense, he's unable to float or swim, making drowning the biggest threat to him.
As mentioned in the AU background, his molecules aren't fully charged. As they start to burn out he'll have increasingly severe spasms and loss of control of his body, as well as fits of strange or bad behavior. These are accompanied by his eyes flickering or turning green and any sounds he makes taking on a more computer-like quality.
